Dr Ray and her staff are fantastic!!! They are very accommodating, friendly and most knowledgeable. I have had some serious problems and Dr Ray has been amazing. I can’t begin to express what her care has meant to me. She is by far, the best I have ever seen. I feel so extremely fortunate to be under her care.

Dr. Diaz is an absolute delight—not only were she and the whole team so patient when I was stranded on the highway on the way into surgery, she did an incredibly thorough job of a complicated extraction and held onto hope with me that the site would be able to take a future implant. Their flexibility with helping me set up a workable payment plan and answering all of my questions has been so so helpful. I am also pretty overweight—not at my best health in general—and have never felt judged or looked down on by anyone in the office. I have never felt anything but cared-for and encouraged. I will recommend this team to anyone without a second thought!

Not being from San Antonio, I was referred to Oak Hills Periodontics and saw Dr. Ray. Every person I spoke with in the office was kind, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. Dr. Ray was absolutely wonderful. Her many years of experience and great personality made me feel very confident and comfortable. I cannot recommend them highly enough!!!

From check in to check out everyone was extremely pleasant and professional. Everyone took their time to explain everything and made me feel comfortable. I was relaxed the entire time and had no worries. I drove all the way from San Marcos and I will continue to come back. Dr. Diaz and her associates are amazing.

Dr. Diaz and the entire team (including the assistant on my surgery, Chris), are AMAZING. I was referred to Oak Hills Periodontics by an orthodontist at my dentist, and I was very nervous about the possibility of having extensive gum grafts. Dr. Diaz answered all of my questions with casual expertise, and she was comforting and honest about everything I needed to know. When I arrived for surgery, I was quite nervous and Chris helped put my mind at ease. Recovery from surgery is no picnic, but Dr. Diaz assured me that I could reach out for anything I needed, and she has made good on her promise. Chris called a few days after the surgery to check in on me, and offered to see me the next day if I had any concerns. Everyone was wonderful from start to finish. I still have another surgery to do next year, and I can't say I'm looking forward to it, but I know I'm in good hands at this place. Highly recommend.

I went in for an extraction and was super nervous. I was referred to DrRay and I’m glad I did. Beginning from the front staff Lori, Wendy and Lupi were great and informative. While waiting to get my procedure done Aba the assistant was great! She was very profesional and explained every step to me. Let’s talk about Dr. Ray, she has magical hands! I think if it took 10 seconds to take tooth out you would think I was lying. She was gentle and professional and no pain. I am 7 hours post op and no bleeding or pain. Highly recommend.

I had my 1st consultation appointment! Dr Diaz was awesome and very thorough! She answered all my concerns/questions and made me feel very confident in her. She is coming up with a game plan with my dentist and then we can get started on my many challenges after cancer! Thank you Dr Diaz!!!

I went to see Dr.Diaz for the 1st time today, and it was a wonderful visit, she was very friendly, knowledgeable really made my anxiety about dental offices melt away, and that is the 1st time in years , truely a great experience, and Laura her assistant was also very friendly and knowledgeable as well . Including the front office ladies very welcoming, This practice is definitely a cut avove of the rest!

Dr Ray, has been my periodontist for almost 30 years. She has always been the best for me during that time. I was immediately put at ease with the friendliness of everyone. Dr Diaz explained everything she was going to do so no surprises. Assistant Chris gave instructions about post care. Definitely a five star experience!

The guys that came into my home they were very professional. They took care of my stuff. They move my furniture and they also put it back. They did a great job and pick up a job here and I would recommend them to anybody else.

The care and communication are top-tier starting with Dr. Ray and extending to her entire team. Friends had told me that periodontal surgery is a miserable, painful experience. Dr. Ray saw my mom who is 89. She was so kind and caring and such a knowledgeable doctor! Mom learned what to do to lessen her mouth pain until we get a definite diagnosiso. She is a great doc!

The best cleaning I've ever had! Christina thoroughly cleaned my teeth and explained what I should do to keep them bacteria free going forward on a day to day basis.

I went to Dr. Gabriella Diaz for crown lengthening on my upper teeth and I am so thrilled I chose her as my periodontist. Dr. Pam & staff -from front desk to chair- have provided me the best solutions & care. At every appointment I have received respect, clarity, excellent treatment, & kindness. There was a clear explanation of what periodontal problems I faced, along with a detailed review of how the solution would played out. A separate review of cost’s was presented, along with alternatives. This allowed me to make a decision that fit my pocketbook, while solving the problem.

“Don’t like going to the dentist”, is what many people say… but, I can actually say that I enjoyed the experience! Dr. Gabriela Diaz, I will refer to her as Dr. G, was beyond awesome! She explains thoroughly, listens to your concerns and answers them, is professional, intelligent, courteous, and treats you with respect. Her staff is #1 and so friendly! Dr. G performed a gum transplant on my lower gum and did a superior job!! Her assistant was above and beyond too! I believe his name is Chris. He explained each and every step. If you have gum recession or bone loss and need an expert, give Dr. G a call. You won’t regret it. They are the best!!

Professional, from the check in until I left. I had the privilege of being seen by Dr Gabriella. She took the time to explain everything and made sure I was comfortable with the treatment plan. An all female staff. I had two male dentist that blew me off and every since then I rather have a woman dentist for now on. I'm going to make an appointment asap. At least women in the dentist industry. I know because I had a woman dentist before.

This was the BEST dentist visit EVER and I am close to 60 years old. They were pleasant, nice, friendly took the time to explain everything that was going to happen, took time to explain every cost.. Made sure I was comfortable I did not have to wait. This was for a first evaluation visit and my second periodontist. I was there for almost 90 minutes while they made sure I understood. The first periodontist spent 6 minutes with me and told me nothing!! If you are an anxious patient see Dr Ray and team. THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!! I am not even scared to go back for all the work I need.

Dr Ray is amazing she listens to your concerns & creates a plan to help fix it. Ive always had doctors tell me well this is all we can do & you’ll just have to live with it. I would recommend her to anyone who needs help.

Dr Ray is excellent and great diagnostician. And gives compassionate care. I trust her in all procedures. She did a dental implant years ago and all was smoothly done without any discomfort. This visit was CT of jaw and teeth for screening. Only hard thing is finding her office in Fredericksburg and turning in from I 10 direction. She’s worth that trouble. Has great staff.

Another great job by Dr. Diaz and Laura today. They both were attentive and their bedside manner is above and beyond. I want to give Laura extra props on a job well done drawing blood for my procedure. She was gentle and took her time. She was so light handed that I didn't feel when she placed the needle in my hand and when she took it out. Thank you Dr. Diaz and Laura for your professionalism and the care you both provided today.

The service has always been the best-in-class and needless to say Dr Ray and her staff truly care about doing what’s right for your dental health. Great and honest doctors! They are not looking to make a quick buck. Dr. Diaz was kind, informative, and provided us with the answers we were looking for and gave us options of what to do moving forward. My son was super nervous, but Chris and Dr. Diaz provided exceptional service and reassured us that it’s a genetics thing, but gave suggestions on how to keep an eye out for any changes. The best thing is that we are welcomed back if any other issues or concerns pop up! I’m so glad that Dr. Cantu recommend Dr. Ray’s practice they are amazing doctors!!

I had my teeth cleaned today! It was a great experience! The office environment is so friendly and super clean! The hygienist Sahra was very professional and did a through evaluation! I have a sensitive teeth and she assured comfort for me and did a great job! No pain or discomfort during the procedure! Dr Ray was so gentle and friendly!

Dr. Diaz and Dr. Ray have both been amazing treating a bad infection on one of my molars. I am so grateful to them and to my friend who recommended I came here. I came anxious and sick because of this infected tooth and Dr. Diaz treated me with kindness and professionalism. Dr. Ray saw me too and she is so professional and kind too. Dr. Ray is awesome. She’s extremely professional, patient focused, transparent and engaging. She wishes to get to the root of the problem and that goes a long way. The staff are friendly and engaging-every single one of them. My favorites are Lupe and Rose. The staff respected each other and had good rapport. That says alot about a business.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ray's for over 20 years. This week she installed an implant in a site she had prepared with a bone graft. Smooth, pain free procedure. I followed her post-op pain protocols using over-the-counter meds and was pain free with no complications. If you want the best team in this business taking care of you, this is the place.

I was lucky to be under Ms. Diaz care and she was beyond 5 stars. She explained everything thoroughly was friendly and welcoming and was very knowledgeable of her expertise. She explained to me that every procedure had to be in order and correctly for the outcome to be perfect. I've never had such a caring doctor as if I were family.

I had one of my front tooth wiggle because I bite on a chicken bone last August. Went to a dentistry near my house & their quote to removed the tooth plus clearing & X-ray is 9K. I waited until Jan. this year, my daughter helped me found Dr. Ray from internet since she had an excellent review.
My first visit is on Jan. 12 then Dr. Ray surgical removed my front tooth on Jan. 17th, plus periodontal scaling & root planing. Their office is very nice with Wi-Fi, & front desk ladies are very helpful. Since I needed to see prosthodontics, Dr. Ray referred Dr. Joe Diaz for my denture done.
 
I went back to Dr. Ray’s office yesterday with my new denture for a periodontal maintenance procedures done by Melia Clark, RDH. This is the 2nd time she is taking care of me. Very thorough & patient with me. I met Dr. Gabriella Diaz, she gave me a shot to numb my gum before we started, she is so skillful, I didn’t feel a thing.
 
The whole experience with them are wonderful, now at 79, I finally fixed everything & prepared myself before I turn 80 next year. Now I can eat properly, also have a reliable place to maintain my oral health from now on. Smile & grateful from the bottom of my heart.

I had another terrific visit to Dr Ray's last week. Diagnosed with periodontal disease years ago, I have always experienced great care in my visits with Dr Ray and my hygienist, Melia. She is a true professional and has a great sense of humor. I travel quite a distance to enjoy this superb care. I'm a patient for life!
